well jyj is a weird situation almost every agency had that contract and those long terms they just hit the judge lotto. I do not think only sm black listed them i think the industry did.

Funny enough, the time limits weren't what was made illegal in the JYJ case, at least from the source I've read and the following SM lawsuits. It was recommended that the industry change them and most companies did except SM. Or if Jessica is right, sign the 7 year contract and 3 year extension together and postdate it.

Jimin and Yerin (stan dem both) both signed in 2012 and left in 2019. They both frequently dragged JYP out in public and were doing their own projects outside the company so everyone saw it coming.

They don't have a single hit under their belt and instead of rising, JYP continued to give them experimental music until Korea stopped caring for them altogether. It just got worse after Twice hit big. They got lucky and managed to gain a big international following but JYP clearly doesn't know how to deal with the international fandom. They wasted all of their potential as a group. They'll all honestly do much better as solos, especially Jackson in China with variety shows/solo music and Jinyoung as an actor.

I think (from my limited knowledge of Jamie on Good Girl, it wasnt wasted so much as the fates dint align for JYPE n Jimin{as she was known earlier}.

Im not sure wat JYP the man expected from her, as JYPE wasnt as good a fit for Park Jimin(Jamie) as YG was for Lee Hi n Akmu, maybe he was grandstanding n doing one-upmanship to prove sth to YG/YGE over the contestants of watever talent show Akmu n Jamie came out of.

Im very happy tat Good Girl put a spotlight on Jamie, and Begin Again spotlighted Suhyun n later also Lee Hi, recently. if i had infinite time, id dig deeper into Lee Hi, Suhyun/Akmu, unfortunately little to dig for re: Jamie n also YG's &15 member Baek Yerin's discography to know alla them better, include Bol4 n the left the group member too maybe, tho they arent/werent in yge or jype.

Nope, they haven't. They have had popular songs amongst the K-Pop fandom and other idols but no hits with the public. I feel like SM is managing them and promoting them a million times better than JYP did with GOT7 though. GOT7 was never the artist that had JYP's main attention whereas NCT is where all of SM's focus is on. They're promoting the hell out of them and growing their fandom. I don't know if they'll ever get a hit because of their concept and musical direction, but SM is putting their all in making sure they succeed. Can't say the same for JYP and GOT7.
