The Office UK vs The Office US (1 Viewer)

Which one do you prefer? I know the UK one is the original and Ricky Gervais is great as David Brent but for some reason I couldn’t fully get into it lol.

Meanwhile I’ve been watching the American version since some days and it’s so amazing
Esp Steve Carell as Michael Scott lol, plus I think the characters and lines are a lot more memorable and have been immortalized as memes too. I’m definitely team Office US.

Wbu?

I've never even watched the Office UK, the Office US just can't be outdone.

I started with the UK and it was fine lol, the jokes were there but I couldn’t really get into it. With the US version it was insta love lol, I started loving Michael Scott immediately, Steve Carell is so amazing.

UK one was the original lol, next was the US one and I think there are other adaptations in diff countries too

Literally the actors are so perfect for their roles. Casting did an amazing job. I mean, can you imagine anyone else as Michael?

I like the US version more. Steve Carrell is just too good lol.

Lmao ikr, the fact that despite being problematic Steve Carell can still make Michael so likeable lol.

Every time he said something racist about my ethnicity my heart fluttered.

"OH MY GOD AM I A WOMAN??"

The American version is the superior one. You get more of a happy ending for basically all of the characters, they get more fleshed out as a result. Then you fall for them more too and harder and it makes the overall enjoyment that much better plus the humor is better to me.

I know my friends and co workers love the us version.

i'm from the uk but definitely the us version

UK version didn't last very long so its really an unfair comparison.

So because of that I'm going with US.
