After getting effectively cancelled in Korea due to the Rising Sun scandal and leaving SM, many thought Tiffany was done. She did work hard on her Western music and stayed pretty active- although she didn't quite blow up but she was working nonstop which was good to see.

However, it was difficult for anyone to imagine her becoming super relevant again.

Yesterday it was revealed she managed to land a role in the Korean adaptation of the legendary musical "Chicago" which has been adapted many times, even in 2002 in an Academy award winning film. And it's not just a supporting role but she will be playing THE leading lady Roxie Hart (for which Renee Zellweger got an Oscar for the 2002 film).

As more details got revealed, I read that she flew back to Korea several months ago in the midst of the pandemic, quarantined herself, and later practised her ass off since this role is one of her 3 dream roles and she always wanted to do a musical. At the age of 30 plus, she's managed to come back to the Korean mainstream after being written off.

Also, she was never my favorite SNSD member, but I gotta say she's the most charismatic performer in the group thanks to her bright energy, and as more time passes and I look back on everything, she's making a super late run for my bias member lol. Fany Fany Tiffany capturing my heart right as her musical lead role debut is round the corner.

Yeah almost everyone is booked and busy, except Sunny, she's enjoying her down time although I wish she did something lol.
Sooyoung was very recently in the drama Run On as the 2nd female lead and it did well both ratings wise, and critically.

i love that movie! i even own it on dvd. ngl i always liked the other character (the one with short black hair, i always forget the names but i think her started with a v or something) more than roxie but i'm happy for tiffany anyway, glad she's doing well

Tiffany Rising, after some MC jobs n other gigs im so happy tat she's getting a musical theater gig. Gucci grannies not being jobless, with Seo, Soo, Yul, Yoon drama/tv acting, Tae now a regular cast on a weekly tv variety show, Hyo n Sunny doing various jobs keeping them in public eye-Tif being sought after for jobs in korea is truly heartwarming to me.
