Has a member leaving the group ever led you to liking a group less? (1 Viewer)

but for other groups such as SNSD, VIXX, EXO, Momoland, etc

Not less... but I would be disappointed. Which is why I don't stan any groups for which membership is transitory

Yes. If my bias or other member i like a lot leaves its harder to find enjoyment in that group. It can also change the group a lot their dynamic their sound..

No. The only group I can think of where it may have decreased a little for a few months was LC, but that's a totally different scenario...

I think I may like VIXX more, but we'll see when they come back.

The only one I feel like this happened to with me is SNSD. I just really believe some of the girls had some part in Jessica being kicked out and as a result, I wound up really disliking some of the members and losing interest in the group as a whole.

I don't think we'll ever know what happened, but I remember when Baekhyun released his clothing line Prive, the other EXO members were supporting him and even promoting/wearing his stuff on Instagram. That made me wonder more about SNSD and what went down with Jessica.

Yeah it made me think less of the SM business side and more closer to home as such. Let's hope she subtly spills tea through her next book

I don't think members leaving has directly made me like a group any less, but it used to make me feel more distant from those specific groups. Although now that most my ults are 2nd gen or early 3rd gen, members leaving or being gone doesn't affect me as much as before since it is so normal.

It depends as if I stan the group then they've reached a point where I will want the members to do well individually as well so anyone leaving won't affect my interest although only JinE has left so far and that made me want to support Oh My Girl more if anything.

When it comes to groups that I am a casual fan of though they can be a lot more affected by a member leaving like my interest in AOA dropped quite a bit when ChoA left which was before the mess got revealed as well as Bol4 with whatever their controversy was.

after taevin left myteen, i still followed them but i didn't feel as close anymore. i guess i can say the same for monsta x since wonho was my original bias; after he left, i didn't really have a bias anymore so i became distant with them as well.

If one member leaves a group, followed by another, and then another - that's when I lose interest. But if just one member leaves and that's it, it doesn't really affect how I see the group. Like, when Jooheon took his hiatus from Monsta X, I didn't like them less because of it. Oh! And Wendy and Red Velvet - I stan RV with the same amount I did when she was actively with them. (which is a lot lol)
