I think so many people are shocked by the fact that Russia is a full point ahead of the US, they've been so dominant no one expected this to happen. Hopefully they get it together for finals, it would be really disappointing if they have another meh day.

Yeah the Russians definitely deserved first. They performed very well.

I only caught the last rotation of the last subdivision unfortunately. It's a shame Sam Mikulak had the errors in his high bar routine, but I heard he did very well on pbars. They seem placement wise to be similar to past US Mens teams from what I know. That being said I don"t follow mens gymnastic closely>

I agree, Shane and Yul had some errors on their routines as well, but i’m happy they are enjoying their time at the olympics.
