A persons visuals can 100% grow on you
I think with getting to know an idol, there is the added factor of getting to know their expressions etc more, which can make them a lot more charming than you initially found from just pics and short clips.

I also think a person's personality can grow on you. I realized that I actually subconsciously always bias the person I find the most attractive and then start loving their personality. This is the case for literally every grow I stan initially. Sometimes my bias changes but very rarely. Unless that person is EXTREMELY boring, rude, or bland, I usually grow to love their personality.

and NO jaehyun is NOT BORING

ya girl also tends to bias the more "mysterious" ones because she thinks this is an anime and the mysterious guys are all tsunderes when they probably base their personalities off of being good looking. its really such a hard life to live. 😔

I don’t think I’ve seen an idol that I think is bad looking at all, are there idols that I think are handsome or pretty that I’m not actually attracted to? Yes but that doesn’t mean I think they’re ugly or anything. Idk if that makes sense... I confused myself while writing it out

to me the only thing that makes a person "ugly" by any kind is having an ugly personality so the names that came into my mind here are seungri and jimin. sure there are idols that i don't consider myself attracted to (like literally every bg member that i stan) but i wouldn't call them bad-looking right away. visuals are the least important thing when it comes to stanning for me, i like complaining about the styling sometimes like when loona's stylist makes the members look like they're going to the church but other than that even if an idol's face looks like the 8th wonder of the world i would never actually stan them if their music is unlistenable.
