Being a "notable member" is kinda exhausting (4 Viewers)

Ngl, this is just me... being me and my brain going... NO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS.

But atm I am user on this site with the second most threads. (and the gap is slowly but surely closing in)
And while I love making threads, don't get me wrong.... It's exhausting.

Every day I don't make threads I start feeling guilty.
Hell, even when I only make 1 thread on a day I start feeling weird.

Usually it isn't a problem bcs it's not like I am lacking ideas, but I feel like it is REALLY cutting down on the enjoyment I have on this site.
When I get on here, instead of thinking let me see what people are doing, what threads ppl are making, talk with them and just having fun...
My only thought is, what thread am I going to make today.
What would be a good idea for a thread
Will people be interested in this thread? Bcs while I have this want of making as many threads as possible, making meaningless empty threads nobody replies to or cares about isn't it either

I dunno what to do about it....
I'm tryna relax myself a bit more with this.

I dunno how much this will affect the rate at which I'm posting threads, but don't be surprised if I end up making very little threads in the coming days and/or weeks. (what might happen though is that when I stop thinking about it too much, great ideas just start popping into my head spontaneously!)

But yeah... I think too much about how many threads I'm making and the quality of them....

It's weird that my brain has decided to set me this standard or goal.
Maybe it's just the reaction I have to rankings or smth like that.

That's impressive- but forums are about having fun! I only have like 175 threads (mainly for graphics) and have been here for a year and a half. I really wouldn't worry too much.

I know it's easier said than done but you should definitely not feel a need to make threads, you contribute so much no matter how many threads you make and no matter whether you have the most threads or least

maru, don't worry about it I stressed EXACTLY like you about my posts then just yoloed and took a long hiatus and now I don't even care about it anymore it's a big relief, promise <3
