Cube has had some great groups for sure, so how they've ended up so badly is beyond me.


However, (G)I-DLE is arguably Cube's most successful group, both nationally and internationally. The scale of Idle's hype and popularity is huge for Cube and has been since Idle's debut. And it became apparent that from Idle's debut, Cube unfortunately no longer cared much for any of their other artists, including CLC.

If Cube was to mess Idle up at some point in the future, given Idle's success and popularity which continues to grow, then it would probably be one the biggest and most controversial miss-managements in K-pop.

I believe Cube knows what (G)I-DLE means to their company now. Idle is Cube Entertainment at this point, considering how hard they are going to have to carry now. I pray and hope Idle continue to grow and that Cube does right by them, always.

Yeah it's good to see IDLE achieving so much and they obviously have Cube's backing now. I hope it stays that way and we don't see any mess down the line coz that would suck
Tbh it's always hard to predict stuff like this, Cube's new management has mostly seemed okay for the most part, but one can never tell with companies like these, I hope IDLE can work on their stuff without having to deal with these issues.

That's probably the trap there

If I don't give them schedules, they get little to no income.
If they don't get income, they can't pay their trainee debt.
If they know we'll come after them for breaking their contract, they'll probably not bother.

Idk how these things work, but I feel like a large portion of it works on fear (of legal action, of industry retaliation, what have you).

It makes me so sad knowing that this is the case. CLC has so much talent and stage presence and the music they released never ceased to amaze me in some way. I hate how companies play fucking favorites. They put so much time and effort into the group they love the most that the other ones fall to the way side and then they wonder why that other group isn't getting any recognition.

I am still shocked that cube never disbanded them. There wasn't any sort of output from clc.

I'm afraid you're being too optimistic my friend. The people at Cube clearly can't help but shit on themselves whenever they get the opportunity. They were finally getting something out of CLC and this happens...

Cube is classless, actually pretty much all of these companies are. Really, I think Kpop groups need to have shorter contracts initially if they don’t have as much success relative to the company. Stopping people in the middle of their careers because of a contract is ridiculous. Especially because CLC could have at least been stable and at a pretty good position if Cube didn’t mismanage them multiple times.

Cube and clc are weird... they didn't cold stop promotions like many of the companies

or flat give up like say jelly fish. on a group who was selling at least better (until act 5 ironically the song that many ppl like the most from them

it does like when things started to pick up for CLC , cube said they were so far under water that forget it.
I don not know how well they made money with sales of 4-6k.
