A different theory suggests they have 3 groups: female solo x idol, actor couple and idol couple.

SM do care though, however they are more open when it comes to their idols dating, YG is very secretive about dating and JYP depends on the idol and circumstances

As much as ARMY like to go on about the authenticity of BTS, they have a tightly constructed image, though being open is a part of that. However they relay heavily on a emotional connection to their fandom for support and that includes a boyfriend troupe undertone, though more sophisticated. I can see BigHit wanting to stop dating news at least until next year and BTS themselves are very selective about their private life.
