Yes, i will pick up no more than 3 per year. Not sure i have ever picked up 3.
Originally i just has SNSD, and kept track of some 2nd gen group.

Then i found i was really spending a bunch of time with Apink after following them since launch, but i did not full on declare and buy the discography until
2014-5 ish same with fx.
Was on Rv since launch.
2015 was a busy year for me. Work was crazy and I got really sick so i had way too much time on my hands.
found gfriend and Lovelyz. Toyed with mmm April omg as the last choice but they did not hold my interest thru 2016 briefly looked at twice.
2016 was bol 4 and gugudan, bol4 i bought right away looked a bit at wjsn pristin re looked at twice killed em.
Nada in 2017 except we me i kinda follow.
2018 Iz*one, and i am pretty serious about dream note and fromis_9. Follow casually Rocket girls because china is just weird.

That is a bunch of groups, but it is tiered and with several 2nd gen groups not as hard as it looks.

They are sorted in to the distance/effort i would go/put out to see them.
SNSD RV and IZ One i have traveled to Korea to see.
If i knew what i know now i would have made it to see gfriend in 2017 for LW and maybe 2018 for SS cb.
I did make it to a lovelyz fansign this year,and tried for fromis_9 also saw bunch of groups at MCD.

Some groups suck up much more time than others. IZ one is labor intensive, bol 4 is totally easy. SNSD when i found them consumed tons of free time for a year plus.

ATM i am waiting on koeun lami and hina just say sr19g, BC's Kim Nayoung, casual interest in rbw for Goeun and what ever happens to the Pledis escapees. Maybe some other pd 48 girls. Everglow was a miss.

I just am a mess since sometimes I do fall out with a group or that I start falling into deep with another group

One example is APINK. I love these girls and have been into them since I don’t Know/debut era. When all the mess with YG and 2NE1 happened I got more focused on APINK during that time and added them as my no1 GG ( to add Apink and RV were my top gg‘s when RV came back with Dumb Dumb. I was also a luvie since happiness). I slowly lost interest in Apink though when 5 happened so it felt odd considering them as an ult group so I had RV alone for awhile ( now I added a ton of gg‘s though as ults). Just recently I fell all over again for APINK and decided to finally add them as an ult since I always loved and appreciated them anyway. I also started to be really into 5 and I‘m So Sick ( hated I‘m So Sick before )

Usually 5 but I don't really feel like stanning anyone else other than who I do now and just consider myself a casual fan of some other groups but as for your problem with AOA i'd just add them back when they have a comeback tbh which is what i'm planning to do with EXID since it's at the point where idk when a comeback could be.

I used to limit it to three, with BTOB, Bigbang and Day6. When I started liking EXO, I denied stannig them so that it would stay three. I gave up when I got into Seventeen.

Yes, lol. I'm a casual fan of many, but only really "stan" Twice, BTS, and Red Velvet today. I'm more likely to buy albums from those three groups and support them as such.

I stan six groups : EXO, BTS, Apink, Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet and Winner. I want to stan more groups like G-idle but it’s already so hard for me to keep up with everyone activities honestly. BTS alone take most of my free time since we are so well fed with them. I understand solo ARMYs.

Cherry Bullet is the only group that I may stan in addition of the others.

I only hard stan EXO and BTS and nowadays it’s mostly BTS because since last year my interest for them is decreasing.

Same here. I usually just stick to Spotify if I want to listen to other groups anyways. It makes things a lot cheaper.

I don't put a limit, but I simply have no time to stan a lot of groups. Stanning takes a lot of time: like listening all of their songs, learning the members name, learning more about them as a group or just knowing more about their personalities. I am already bad with the ones I stan, so sometimes I don't even care about anything else beside their songs.

Yeah I agree. I used to stan other groups, but I barely knew about the members personalities. I just enjoyed their music a lot. After awhile, I figured that I can't really call myself a stan if I don't know the members that well so, I just unstanned them. Although, I'm still a casual fan of them.

I mostly have a set of requirements for each gen: a 4 membered GG, 6 members and 9
Currently in the market for a 4 member group and a 6 member group for 4th gen

Monsta X

Other groups that I’m interested in:

Stray Kids
TXT
SuperM (if their songs are good!)

I have spent money on all these groups by buying digital songs, and I have bought at least (BTS & NCT are more) one physical album for all of these groups besides Stray Kids (which I may do tomorrow if I have time to go shopping!)

I really try to only “stan” 3 groups at a time! If I stan too many, my brain is all over the place! But, it’s never a bad thing to stan a lot of groups!!

For me personally it's about budget.
There's a lot of KPOP events in my area and I could never afford to go to all. My wallet tends to be reserved for one or two groups and those groups become the ones I will say I stan but in reality if I had all the time and money in the world I'd probably "stan" all groups
