While I do think the best decision is for them to stay under Hybe however that depends on not only NewJeans publicly and privately apologizing for their contributions in this mess but also their parents apologizing and staying out of the way. Min Heejin played all of them like fiddles and this women will ruin them just the same when she is out of us for them and hell she has said she believes idols contracts shouldn't go past 7 years so as a long term career NewJeans won't have it with her.
