i'll go first:

reasons to stan:

1. they've done cute concepts very very well in their careers, so if you like cute concepts they're the ones for you!
2. the members are actually very funny, they're one of my fave ggs when it comes to variety (along w wjsn)
3. song hayoung. really do i have to explain? miss song can literally do it all, she's a great singer (she's officially a lead vocal but rn she's pretty much a main as well, what with the whistle notes in dm), one of fromis's main dancers, and has participated in the production of music too!

reasons not to stan:

1. they recently lost a member :( (but gained a new flover in the process!)
2. they haven't really dabbled much in girl crush so if that concept is your favourite (and you're not too fond of cute) then yeah
3. they were on hiatus a lot when under their previous record label, so unfortunately they don't had as much music as one would expect a group that debuted in 2018 to have (though ngl imo that's worked in their favour cause whatever little they have is absolutely immaculate!)

1. amazing discography with very diverse sounds
2. very successful bg with lots of awards and broke tons of records
3. run bts is so fun to watch ❤ the boys are funny and they got great personnalities

reason to NOT stan bts
1. they are currently focusing on their solo careers and are taking a break from group music for a while
2. they insult their fans

2. They have such a cute journey of going from label mates who look up to each other to band mates together.
3. Their music is so good, and they performed at events and have songs relating to mental health and other good causes

Reasons not to stan

1. Their future is uncertain
2. They’re looked upon as a side project by a lot of people and seen as less important
3. They don’t have a lot of music, even if the music thye have is so good

honestly i feel like this is a reason to stan..? like, this gives newer fans a chance to listen to their discog, while also appreciating the individual members' careers, which in their own ways could attract so many fans!

but yeah, their future does seem uncertain, what with mr wong royally f*cking things up and generally being nct's big question mark. i hope they either continue as six, maybe a comeback between taemin's return and jongin's enlistment? or they could add a member, either a senior or a junior idol. either way, i want sm to do smth w superm

Yeah Lucas messing things up, then members facing contract renewal and being in the military, it’s not easy to tell what’ll happen. I hope they continue as 6 too, or that there comes out legit proof of his innocence. Given how people treat SuperM though I won’t be surprised if the comebacks after they return from the military are all og group comebacks, as much as I want a SuperM one

1. Great discography with no songs lacking in production quality
2. Fun personalities as the girls are quite close
3. They don’t have long intervals between comebacks, usually it’s only 4-6 months, so they are consistent enough with activity
Reasons to not stan Gidle:
1. Their dancing is a bit weak since Soojin left, so if you’re into dance-heavy groups Gidle probably isn’t for you
2. Soojin’s scandal might put people off stanning
3. CA scandals might make people uncomfortable too

1. YG is a very untrustworthy company and you'll either get like three comebacks in a year or fcking one
2. They will never leave you alone on socials especially Weverse. Expect a lot of the members to talk to you constantly
3. Akgaes are a serious issue in the fandom way moreso than Teumes getting into fandom wars, they got many in fandom wars

3. if you want physical albums, good luck; only their debut album and qarangy zharyq are in physical format, and i don't know where you can find those (or if there are even any left for grabs).

to stan:
- self producers + always release bops. i personally love every single song they've released. there is not a single song i dislike.
- all the members are so talented and all of them are all rounders.
- they love stay so much. i've never seen a group with such indescribable love for their fans. it's insane

not stan:
- there's a lot of content from them it's easy to get drowned in it (i have too at times)
- their discography is not very consistent in keeping one style--lot's of different genres and styles of songs which might turn some people off (though can also be a good thing, which i think is a good thing but others might not)
- stays can be pretty crazy/toxic sometimes (mainly after they got more popular, new people have joined the fandom and there's been a lot more toxicity than before. stays were chill before)
