In Love With An Ogre

The goose and her roommate, Seonghwa, are sitting on the couch in her living room, watching a cooking show on TV, where a cook is making onion soup.
The onions makes the goose think about when she was at the grocery store yesterday.

She was at the fruits and vegetables part, wanting to buy apples.
And then she saw a handsome ogre standing there in front of the onions.
Her heart fluttered and her cheeks turned as pink as a dragon fruit.
The ogre's brown eyes looked at her.
"Hello there." he said.
She found his voice and accent very seductive.
"Uhm..." the goose said shy. "hi..."
"A nice day to go shopping, right?"
She nodded.
"My name is Shrek." he said, "and yours?"
"Uhmm..."The goose suddenly forgot her own name.
"Uhm? What an interesting name for a goose."
Then he grabbed the onion and put it in the cart.
Then he left.
She found out that she is in love.

Her heart flutters like butter as she thinks about Shrek.
Seonghwa gets up from the couch.
"I'm going to go for a walk in the park," he says. "would you like to come with me?"
"Yes." she responds.
She hopes that Shrek is there, so that she can go walk over to him and ask him out on a date.


The sun is shining brightly and the grass is as green as emerald.
The two of them are walking in the park.
She is enjoying the smell of the grass, but doesn't see Shrek anywhere.
"I thought it was a good idea to get some fresh air." he says.
"Yeah, fresh air is healthy," she says. "or that is what my grandmother used to say."

She starts noticing a bench, where two ogres are sitting and kissing.
She find one of the ogres familiar looking.
The other ogre is wearing a green dress and has red hair.
These two ogres stop kissing and she finds out that it is Shrek.
Her hearts breaks in half.
Shrek suddenly notices her and Seonghwa.
"Oh, hello Uhm," he says. "what a nice weather, we are having today."
The goose gets tears in her eyes and runs away.
"Uhm, where are you going?" Shrek yells.
Seonghwa looks at her concerned and runs after her.

He sees her standing by an oak tree and crying.
"Goose, is there something wrong?" Seonghwa says.
"I was in love with him." she says and sobs.
"So you didn't know that he was in a relationship?"
"Yes."
"May I hug you?" he asks.
She nods.
Then he puts his arms around her and hugs her.
"I have never told you this," he says. "but I'm in love with you."
"You're... what?" The goose says surprised and starts blushing.
"Would you like to be in a romantic relationship with me?"
"Yes." she says.
Then they stop hugging and he gives her a kiss on the cheek.
Now she has forgotten all about the ogre.

No but why am I remembering that Shrek × KW fanfic even though they're not that similar?

Outside of that though this is pretty good (a few mistakes here and there but otherwise good).
