She isn't? I mean she doesn't have that many singing parts and such but she did have an entire dance break in SSoS and actually gets screen time. She-s also extremely popular internationally for some reason. I don't think she'll find the success in a WM group tho...she's probably better off just staying.

Chaeyeon yeah she got the dance break in SSoS, but that's been just about it! She is back line or edge in the choreo WAYYY too often, she is badly styled like 90% of the time (especially her haircut)

I'm not gonna say she is BADLY treated, bcs she clearly isn't! BUT... I think she could be treated a lot better! + I honestly feel like she suits cute concepts a lot better than girlcrush ones funnily enough, but in IZ*ONE they tend to not really let her shine in those

From an outsiders POV, it seems really dumb to disband them. The j members might have to go home and they'd take a hit in Japan, but it's worth it. Hopefully Mnet can buy out most of the girls contracts.

Although I wonder if we'd see more fromis if IZ*ONE disbanded. Damn Pledis

Even if IZ*ONE doesn't disband, I can't see all 12 girls staying, I doubt all companies would want to miss out on cashing in with their prized prospects. And I really don't know how possible it would be for the Japanese members

Tbh I feel like the deal with the Japanese members is easier than with the Korean ones...
If the Japanese members wanted to stay, I don't think there is much the japanese side of things could do to make them leave.

They would just do what... return to AKB, graduate really fast and then fly back to Korea to resign

Although that seems like a very unlikely scenario lmao

Yeah that's true lol, but she still has this sense of obligation to carry out her duties is what I feel from her, but even if she gets out quick, I think a successful solo modelling/acting career is just lying in wait for her in Japan and she'd definitely prefer it over IZ*ONE but anything could happen.

It's definitely possible she could prefer a solo career in Japan over IZ*ONE, but if the extension was for 2 years for example or smth like that, not quite a full usual kpop contract length.... She might just go for it tbh. A thing I really wanna note, is that Sakura has really gone in on improving herself in Korea, even more than Nako and Hii-chan I would say. She has been concentrating on dancing and singing lessons a LOT, which does KINDA indicate to me that she wishes to continue doing SOMETHING idol-ish y'know

Tbh I dunno if Sakura has that feeling of obligation for the 48g any more. Basically all other big names who you would think would also be obligated have jumped ship. Not to mention her ranking no.3 in the 2018 sousenkyo really hit her hard.

it's hard to tell WHAT exactly she wants due to her really being a pro idol. We don't know whether she would like to be in IZ*ONE, be in HKT48, be in both, be in none of them.... I have honestly no clue.
