True, they have banned several MV'S and songs. They are known for this and in a way it's actually good marketing when KBS throws their tantrums.

BLACKPINK Jennie's latest hit song "Mantra" has been hit with a sudden ban. The idol's song has been receiving great reviews.

The reason for the ban was reportedly due to the song naming a specific brand.

I completely forgot about the brand being in the song. I thought it was going to be because of the "swing both ways" line. Either way, that sucks, and I hate when songs get banned for stupid reasons like that. I still remember when Kill This Love was banned because Rose was driving in the music video and not wearing a seat belt, and they thought fans would start driving without one too.

Yep, it was KBS because it violated South Korea's Road Traffic Act. Some also claimed that it was due to the lyrics that seemed to "glorify" domestic abuse but Teddy and Bekuh Boom came out and said it was to call out toxic relationships and that "you plus me sadly can be dangerous" and "let's kill this love before it kills you to" are all metaphorical and not to be taken literally.
