Agreed! I don't know about others, but, whenever I see Instrumental versions, to me at least, they seem pointless and waste of tracks or a short-cut, lazy way to fill the albums.
And I'm sure the reasoning for Instrumentals is because of time and money constraints, but, seriously, who listens to those?
Probably the people who study or have studied music.

Funnily enough a lotttttttttttttttttttt of kpop songs nowadays have a ton of songwriters behind them. Le sserafim's fearless has like 9 and gfriend's apple has 15 last time I counted. And the answer is no!!! It shouldn't take 4 people to write a song, let alone 9!

I find them pointless too, but there are often single albums with only 2 tracks, I see the instrumentals just as a bonus in those cases

I find them only problematic if an mini album would be promoted as having 5-6 tracks and then it turns out 3 are instrumentals

Yeahhhhhhhh from what I know the song usually goes through demos (those are the american/swedish producers on credits) then translations, then in some cases in house producers/head staff (hitman bang, jyp) can get their hands on it. But it's way too much, its even more than kpop groups!!!
