rjing has been known for a while now I think since early this year
there's also deyi (confirmed trainee) and rino (rumoured) from the female trainees that I know of

I wouldn't mind if they went for a (G)I-DLE type scenario where they had half Korean, half foreign members especially if they sing like that!

Ooooh she has that female indie type of voice that's really popular in the western market right now, not very typical for an idol though I think the only woman in kpop that sings like that right now is Minnie from (G)I--DLE.

Doing anything with China now is a risk.
and do not take this wrong but many Asian country have issues with mixed.

and i just do not see small, RV is small and they need differentiation this leads me to think 7-9.

personally, I think smngg might be more global since rv is really korean

but having a mixed member could just lead to a bunch of messy situations once politics gets mixed in, but other than that issue I think mixed idols should be fine? at least it doesn't seem to impact idols in china that much

In fairness, you could've made the same argument about RV being a larger group before they debuted because f(x) was a smaller group too...

And as a reveluv this hurts but sm has issues with getting small groups to the top Baring ses and dbsk, and they really need a splashy group.

i'm curious about this group but none of the rumored trainees are any that i can see myself stanning :/ i hope there are hidden ones. jimin has great stage presence (after watching her perform with taemin) and she reminds me of seulgi. she is honestly the only one i'm somewhat "impressed" with.

also: are any of you in the smngg discord? i skim it from time to time but they talk about this aeli girl and this rino girl, who are they? are there any pics/videos of them?

I've heard about Rino but Aeli is a completely new name to me... @mysteric is usually the one that stays up to date on the rumours.

as for aeli, I think it's about the group name because everyone is freaking out about the ae "teaser"
