Coupled with the entrance to the the military this is just more deflection.
As others have said is is non binding, but its definitely a spin move trying to somehow get out in front of the story change the arc if at all possible.
Possible that he is being thrown to the wolves.
Pretty probable that he is dirty.

This is not surprising to me and yes, I believe Seungri just wants to cut it out for good. Is like watching Bom's scandal all over again, with the difference that she was forced to break with 2ne1... I feel truly sorry for him, I hope he can get out of this situation.

This is honestly so sad... I always remember him as the most active/fun member in BB and GD always tell him not to embarrass the group in public with his craziness back in the days... I can say even if he is proven innocent people are just going to say the police are corrupted etc..

Looks like these haters have finally gotten what they want after so many attempts to destroy BigBang.... I wonder what the other members have to say

This can only mean he is guilty. Seungri is a powerful man and if he weren't guilty he would not step aside.

Hopefully this will have a positive effect on the investigation to determine who is guilty and who isn't and that the women who have been affected in all of this are given justice.

At this point it doesn't matter if he's innocent or not, the public opinion has made him guilty already. Since, there's no place where he can defend himself from the accusations, this is actually the best thing to do. Just time will tell...

Oh my goodness. Why are everyone's reactions here "poor Seungri"... the hell? Jesus, isn't he a suspect or about to be? I used to be a VIP, but with this post anyone should sense he's just getting ahead of the investigation/fallout. Literally the least and safest thing he can do; god I'm not lending him one iota of my sympathy.
