I get the whole center thing but she's not the best dancer and has little stage presence... I love Shuhua but she get's what she gets and her fans are just annoying.

Yikes I see where you’re coming from. I just hate it when companies put members in groups but don’t really utilize them much in or outside of music. If Cube is going that route that “Visual” title should mean something😬

Often times I have a bias that's a visual. My UB is Hyungwon, and he is currently the only visual of Monsta X and like... he doesn't get many lines but man he's beautiful with the little center time and camera time that he gets, and that's his role. Get people interested through visuals alone essentially.

And we talked in a thread about how stupid the title of visual actually is... but yea, barely any company puts that title to use. And the ones that do, do it through modeling shoots.

If she isn't fluent in Korean, it makes sense that she doesn't have much presence in production.
Songwriting when you dont have a good grasp of the language in incredibly difficult. SNSD Tiffany never felt comfortable songwriting in Korean and Tzuyu is the only Twice without any credits (outside a group-written song) bc of her poor korean. Can also hinder her producing too.


But she does deserve more than 4 seconds. She killed it in Lion.

This might have the intended affect considering how Soyeon said they have to think about money the most

Yes I know which is why I suggested beat or melody making. Honestly singers don’t have to be involved in production in my book, I was just throwing out suggestions to compensate for the lack of presence in the vocals of the song. Yeah 4 seconds is ridiculous and it’s a pattern. It can only be solved by Shuhua and the Cube production team.

Yeah apparently Sehun Chinese fans did this and it worked. But this will cause a rift in the fandom and who knows how Gidle and Cube will react behind closed doors. Too much drama 😕

She isn't the only producer, she is usually one among two or three. Cube creative directors are consulted on the song as well. The other members are also involved, especially in choosing their parts in the song.

Sidenote: Also Shuhua has the least lines in Bsides written by Minnie and Yuqi as well.
