I'm finally here to write my opinion after a few listens, I didn't watch M/V so I'm not going to comment on it. <:

The chorus is very anthemic, the build-up throughout the song is great, not to mention Taemin's and Baekhyun's verses that are arguably the best in this song, but the final chorus is just a cherry on top of the cake, I didn't want it to end so I repeated the whole song instead, that's the strength of this song. And so what if it's reminiscent of TVXQ? I mean, yes, it's similar to Keep Your Head Down but how can that even be used as an insult towards the song, it should be the highest honour to be compared to SM legends that is TVXQ.

I need a big room house remix of Jopping, now. R3HAB, where you at?

8.5/10 since I'm not biased enough, I wish SuperM good luck though!

I like the dancing, especially the parts inspired by MJ. Didn't care for the lyrics much, but it's a hype song, so they don't have to be impressive.

It has the potential to be an earworm, lol, if I go back to it. Right now, though, I'm whelmed.

As little as i care for (recent especially ) bg music in general...
I finished the mv and enjoyed it. (that puts it far ahead of much of the music this year gg or bg)
The rap wasn't annoying and there was actually some song.

I dunno. This would probably be incredible to see live, and the choreo seemed pretty dope. But the song itself didn't really do much for me. Guess I'll have to give it a few listens before deciding what to think.

The choreography and the direction of it in the MV is spectacular, but 'Jopping' literally sounds like it was meant for a TV ad/commercial 😴 not a lead title track for an OVERLY hyped debut album.
The creation behind SuperM is very try-hard, inauthentic, and desperate for attention (money), from SM's side.

I'm going to be harsh but those (talented) young men need a better song. I quite like the beginning but unfortunately it sounds too disjointed after.
Why not make a lovely song like Ten's New heroes ? I know it's not enough a " in-your-face" song but sometimes subtlety is better.
