It has been speculated that this comeback will actually consist of a series of minis. If true, it would make sense that the last one (or a follow-on album which collected all the minis) got released on Red Velvet's 5th anniversary.

Put it another way: The anniversary is just a month and a half away. Why is SM doing a comeback now, instead of holding off until the anniversary? Hmmm?
