twice are interesting choice since they seem to cater mostly to the Southeast Asia South Asia China market but I don’t know much abt it (meaning they don’t cater to Korea)

Sooo, when Japan invaded the Philippines during WWII they tried desperately to kill Tagalog. They outlawed the teaching of it and only allowed Japanese to be taught in schools. Because of this a lot of Japanese kinda got adopted in to Tagalog. “oishii” (美味しい) means delicious in Japanese. Not sure if this explains why the company is called Oishi but it makes a little sense.
