"Bang Jung Hyun stated to KBS that Yang Hyun Suk had them both take out their phones and agree not to record the conversation. After that, he reportedly said, “It wouldn’t be difficult for me to put you at a disadvantage.”

Bang Jung Hyun stated, “Before the informant met with Yang Hyun Suk, she told the police the whole truth when she was first brought in.” He continued, “In the first police questioning, she testified about everything including the fact that she had taken marijuana with him and given him LSD after he requested her to get it for him, the time and date, and the location. However, the police did not conduct an investigation.”

Yang Hyun Suk is reported to have continued by saying that YG artists don’t get caught by the police for drug use. Bang Jung Hyun stated that Yang Hyun Suk said that a method is used to remove the drug traces so that they are not detected in tests. He reportedly said, “We periodically do drug tests, and if drugs are detected, then they’re sent to Japan where the drug ingredients can be removed, so they don’t get detected.”

According to Bang Jung Hyun, Yang Hyun Suk went on to say, “I hate our artists going to the police station for that kind of problem. I’ll give you sufficient compensation and appoint a lawyer for you, so go to the police station and change all of your testimony.

YG Entertainment has confirmed that Yang Hyun Suk met with her, they have denied all suspicions of coaxing her to change her testimony and appointing a substitute lawyer for her. "

I'm not actually surprised or disappointed that YG tried to shut her off like that, I'd expect all kpop companies try to do dmg control like that to prevent things to get public and into legal system. But i'm disappointed how this all makes drug use to seem so common in YGE like is it really so necessary to keep using drugs that instead of proper drug education and no tolerance towards them in company you would rather try to fool police with weird stuff (like I kinda doubt this Japanese "removing ingredients" method and just risk not only that artist, but their group and all other artist too.

Tbh I guess this is one sided sstatement and not something confirmed but so many things have come out already : / I feel like it's really time for artists to start leaving company while they still have rather clean image. I feel like some might do even better outside of YG like AKMU and Lee Hi.

If the company doesn't go down due to all of this, they would really need to change the whole management especially remove YG and his brother and reduce them to stakeholders. Though it doesn't seem like YGE really has any intentions to admit there is issues and make needed changes. They just try to continue the dmg control and keep things hushed down best they can.

I don't buy the "remove the drugs" thing. I definitely could imagine YG fudging tests but it'd be switching out samples or something.
