When is the girl group formed through the winners of the Chinese survival show Sisters Who Make Waves Season 4 (2023) going to debut ? It has been nearly a year since the show aired.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese V-pop girl crush group LUNAS, formed through candidates of the Vietnamese V-pop survival show "Chị đẹp đạp gió rẽ sóng" which is the Vietnamese version of the Chinese mainland C-pop survival show "Sisters Who Make Waves" also known as "Ride the Wind", just debuted today while the the Vietnamese V-pop survival show "Chị đẹp đạp gió rẽ sóng" started months after the end of the Chinese survival show Sisters Who Make Waves Season 4 (2023) :

i dont think they really ever plan much group activites for teh winners of that.
i remember S3 mostly just had tv shows with assorted members.

It was a few tv/youtube/OTT shows w/Sica n Cyndi Wang headlining(separate shows I think), I watched the seaside band show w/Sica as much as I could find subbed episodes but the chinese/mandarin text on the linked episodes made it not fun/easy.

I think in addition to in-show ads(PPP= korean) they also want high subscriber/viewer numbers to charge their advertisers.

S1-S2 w/Chinese stars as final grp had little promos too I think. I was more familiar with s2 cecilia cheung, rainie yang n joey yung-who were hk/taiwan based in the 90s/2000s.

S4 I don't rmbr/dint follow so unaware of who participated but looking at translated from Chinese Wikipedia, I don't recognise anyone(compared to season 3 where I knew the 90s/2000s hk/Taiwan participants)

S3 promo show seaside band even had guest/semi-regular cast who weren't top in final, but vibed well w/Sica such as kelsey chaos n Liu lian(they also translated/performed in sica's grp during S3)

This show airs(-ed) on cable in my country on the chinese channel(but I didn't know then)

From my reading(limited tho it is), mainland celebs are popular tho-more popular in China than foreign celebs. However they aren't taking part in Sisters who make waves, explicitly for over 30 yr old stars, so the less popular celebs from China over 30 battle against foreign celebs >30, who ofc are those who hv some name recognition in China(I think I read tat Ceci Cheung was paid millions (China reminding or equivalent) to take part in S1, she being a famous HK star from 90s to 2000s(or after). Whereas Zhang Ziyi a famous China star who acted in Godzilla a Hollywood film set in Japan(n rush hour 2 i think), would be too popular to need to be in Sisters who make waves. The top tier stars in China make more money posting in SNS(male HK star from 80s till now-Andy lau, example-but doesn't post ads I think, iv forgotten; but my point stands: outside China stars who want to male inroads into China Market, eg Fei n jia from miss A who were in s1. I rambled on. Srry I'm not gonna edit above into coherent comment.
