The Japanese BG of which they are trying to model crush the akb system in Japan. SNAP Exile ect are 2-3 decade monsters. No I seriously feel like they would be Koreas version of the 48 groups, Most BG stans are fixed stans and pretty hardcore when it comes to replacing members, while most GG stans love the idea of newer and younger girls debuting.
There is a reason there are only famous FEMALE 48 groups :O
I've never seen any other BG, internatonal or Korean with an AKB or NCT concept actually gain publicity, Most of the time when there's a AKB style KPop GG they don't hit big BC of their management, but SM could make it work...
Sorry, I just went off brainstorming !!!

SMAP had a AKB concept? LOL I'm not familiar with them and don't understand what you're trying to say?The Japanese BG of which they are trying to model crush the akb system in Japan. SNAP ect are 2-3 decade monsters.
exile has 30 + members right? I am not a jpop specialist i just know the bg are the template not akb. AKB exists for fan service and physical sales.SMAP had a AKB concept? LOL I'm not familiar with them and don't understand what you're trying to say?
Most of these BG's replace the members generation by generation (not sure though), but what BG have we seen with 30+ members that actually hit big?
Why not?Ehhh they'll still have tvxq, some Exo members (maybe?), Shinee is one of sms top groups moneywise, rv sell pretty well and are popular with the gp, and rherea the new highly anticipated gg. I think they'll be fine without a new bg, probably better off without one tbh.
I mean I still feel like the semi generational/ AKB group project would fit well with girls rather than boys?exile has 30 + members right? I am not a jpop specialist i just know the bg are the template not akb. AKB exists for fan service and physical sales.
based on a theater where the vast majority of fan interaction happens.
Nct is semi generational..... U 127 dream
Yeri still get a boatload of hate and she was there for the first album. It would not go well.Actually I could kinda see that panning out![]()
I feel like stans didn't like the idea of them adding Yeri because it wasn't expected, if SM marketed a GG as having a rotational concept from the start fans would not be as mad, But was Yeri really apart of RV from the start? I wasn't aware of that?Yeri still get a boatload of hate and she was there for the first album. It would not go well.
The army is so fast now most of Shinee will be out. Super junior is all out.Why not?
3 out of 4 in SHINee are enlisted in the Army, next year EXO are gonna be OT3, RV is in their 6th year next year (people are anticipating the NGG), SUJU brings in little money compared to the rest, and TVXQ themselves can't carry SM through that period along with the people we have left..
Debuting a BG or the next SNSD would be the best for them.
They debut with 2 digital singles Happiness and be natural, ICC was the first album which they announced just after she turned 16. She was an unannounced member of the group (there is plenty of documentation that they always intended for her to be in the group.)I feel like stans didn't like the idea of them adding Yeri because it wasn't expected, if SM marketed a GG as having a rotational concept from the start fans would not be as mad, But was Yeri really apart of RV from the start? I mean I felt like BOSS was a public friendly song, KOR. Version of Regular as well? The army is so fast now most of Shinee will be out. Super junior is all out.
Exo members will be start to be out in what feb 21?
Big bang is already out its not that long.
Give NCT U some public friendly songs to tide em over :)
Oh there will be a new gg poor Koeun has trained for a decade, and Hina and Lami are not far behind her.
I heard Koeun left? Or was it she had a bullying scandal? The army is so fast now most of Shinee will be out. Super junior is all out.

SUJU seems to be sm's latin test bed atm.I mean I felt like BOSS was a public friendly song, KOR. Version of Regular as well?
Minseok will be out in January 2021, Kyungsoo April 2021.. Junmyeon maybe June 2021, the 92 liners will be out April 2022 and the 94 line will most likely enlist in 3 years (the latest).
So.... ? SHINee still has Taemin left and he can enlist the latest in 2 years so if he wants to do it late, we won't have SHINee OT4 in a while..
And sue me but I feel like SUJU won't release many songs as a group, enough to bring in loads of cash.
ill let @MochiFace deal with this.I heard Koeun left? Or was it she had a bullying scandal?
Will it be smart of SM to debut her, considering how KPOP stans are towards alleged bullies?
Regular if i remember correctly i hated that from the start ... growl or sorry sorry it was not.I mean I felt like BOSS was a public friendly song, KOR. Version of Regular as well?
This is all bullshitI heard Koeun left? Or was it she had a bullying scandal?

3/4 are enlisted, but by the time Exo enlist they'll be getting close to completing. By the time all of Exo enlist, theyll be out obviously. Red Velvet still sell well. The other groups even while being in the millitary still make plenty of money. They debuted a bg not to long ago, nct, and while that hasnt been succesful, its a deterent if anything imo Debuting a new group is incredibly expensive, and there are no guaruntees whatsoever any of them will pay off. A new girl group yes, i could see that happening without a doubt, theres no question they will be supported and loved immediately. Bgs arent the same, theyre riskier and theres no way to really keep nct going and keep a new boy group at the same time. Either way SM is making more than enough money to get through a couple years of some missing members, theyre in no danger of anything happening really. Why not?

You are saying "its risky" and are talking about it as if SM hasn't done way more risky stuff before, hell they debuted 4 NCT sub units despite the GP hating on NCT. Debuting a normal BG for once will just make SMs image better, give them a public friendly song: introduce then slowly to gain a core fandom and they already have the recipe for the next big boy group.3/4 are enlisted, but by the time Exo enlist they'll be getting close to completing. It doesnt matter how rich they are if it doesnt seem profiteable they would be less inclined to do it. They do need preperations, they cant just debut a group out of nowhere with no plan as to their future. They need members that were trained and have time to prepare for their debut, which they may have but its more likely imo they have members who theyre going to use in nct. Its not about making a debut, that doesnt matter if you dont have any idea of whats going to happen with the. Also whats a traditional sm boygroup? They havent had one ever, why would they start now? The closest they have is probably shinee, which arent traditional due to their different contracts and direction, they were a project group but they tend to be the most mainstream I guess. As for a traditional girl group that would work for sure. That needs less preparation, thats less risky by a long shot, thats been anticipated for a long time. A gg makes sense, a bg doesnt at all.You are saying "its risky" and are talking about it as if SM hasn't done way more risky stuff before, hell they debuted 4 NCT sub units despite the GP hating on NCT. I would say it's in the best interest of SM to debut a GG and or BG with a normal traditional concept.
And the GP is anticipating a new Bg and Gg after all NCT and RV are in their 4th and 6th year respectively... it has been a long long time and they dont need huge preparations either since people will hop on the bandwagon as long as they see new faces.
Debuting a normal BG is never too expensive for SM honey.
NCT debuted almost 4 years ago, I'm sure sM has a plan or backup plan for a NBG, they're not stupid. It doesnt matter how famous NCT is if they want to debut a NBG they will, NCT debuted during Exo's peak, Exo debuted during SHINees peak, and the list still goes..It doesnt matter how rich they are if it doesnt seem profiteable they would be less inclined to do it.
