Now that Aespa has debuted, I was wondering the general consensus of kpop fans on the best debut songs of these girlgroups (everglow, itzy, gidle, Aespa)

My order would be

Bon bon chocolat

Latata

Black Mamba

Dalla Dalla

Out of the 4 you put in the poll I'd say EVERGLOW for me, but there have been many great ones from more unpopular companies.
From this year Bling Bling, cignature, STAYC, REDSQUARE & PRECIOUS were a few who I really enjoyed as well

From what I have seen so many of 4th gen debut look similar. Not necessarily in terms of music, but especially in terms of music videos.

Yeah. I am waiting for a group who does a completely different concept than gurlcrush or cute. Both are kind of boring for me. And less flashy colours please.

Itzy Dalla Dalla and STAYC SO BAD

G-Idle really set the tone for the 4th gen in terms of debut for me. They came onto the scene as baddies and I don't even like them like that. Cube knows how to give them good title tracks.

I thought (G)I-DLE would be considered late 3 gen rather than 4th gen since they debuted mid-2018. I thought 4th gen would have started 2019 at the earliest.

But based on these songs, Latata is my favourite followed by Black Mamba. StayC’s song was alright (I liked it but didn’t love it) and ITZY’s song is out of question. I never finish their songs.

Edit: wait StayC’s song wasn’t mentioned. Lol I saw their names in the comments and somehow my brain replaced them with Everglow
Everglow has one of the best girl group discographies in my opinion but their debut was the only song from them that I didn’t like. Still liked it better than ITZY’s song though.

I liked bon bon chocolat ^^
never really liked itzy’s sound that much, feels like a more try-hard early f(x) especially lyrically, but I love the members
I loved Latata when it dropped, but not so much now
I think I Stockholm syndromed myself into liking Black Mamba lmao, but it’s not awful

IZ*ONE getting the disrespect by not being mentioned, despite being the best selling out of all of these....
