It's not a requirement to join the Moderator Team however they're both useful since it shows that you have experience in both fields. If an applicant doesn't have experience in either, it doesn't mean they will be disadvantaged, it just means that we will adjust their training and 'over seeing' period to make sure that they're adapting to moderating properly
