As a MY, I obviously love all the content that is coming out under Aespa's name but I want to know other people's opinion.

Do you believe that Aespa are being pushed too hard by SM? It's only been 3 months since debut and their debut wasn't the strongest considering all the predebut hype.

Is SM trying too hard to make Aespa appeal to Korea or are they just promoting like a normal rookie group?

Do you think they deserve a Dazed cover and Givenchy contract straight after debut?

This is what I would call a good amount of promotions.

Are they pulling strings to get them Dazed and Givenchy? OF COURSE they are!

Not to mention where else should they use it other than to promote their new group!

I'd only agree that they are being pushed too hard if it was so much it got tiring. That people would start going eugh Aespa AGAIN!
but so far it's just one brand and one magazine cover, promotion, but not too much promotions.

I would honestly say that their debut wasn’t too strong, but to say that it underdelivered would be a lie ngl, none of the actual predebut stans expected much (24h goal was literally 3M, that’s how low expectations were)
they are obv getting the push, but it’s be more odd if they weren’t since sm obviously invested a lot in the group since the whole 6yrs w/o smngg, basically none of xrg made it in thing
but it’s not getting obnoxious, the amount of content they’re getting, and it’s wayyy less than other ggs who debuted around at the same time—just that the gigs are bigger and fewer

honestly the givenchy deal benefits both sides equally imo, not just aespa getting the better deal out of it
givenchy is obviously trying to rejuvenate itself, and for themselves a new CD who only has one collection down for the house
and since aespa is new, deals are obv cheaper, and being an sm group, they’re highly unlikely to flop so their endorsement value won’t be going down anytime soon
wish sm pulled some better strings though, miu miu fits their sns image of fashionable but youthful and fun a lot more

It seems fine to me. Especially in terms of performances besides the debut stages and end of the year, the Forever promotions seem less intense. They aren’t being dragged to a gazillion different music shows and variety shows that take all day.

Their luxury brand deal is brilliant positioning.
