I feel like it kinda does. It's kind of creepy (and I don't feel like this is Jennie's fault btw, she was literally a child) that she was paired with GD in a romantic way. From a marketing perspective, it was smart of her, I just wish YG gave her a more age-appropriate role. Regardless, to go back to your old point, while I don't find these couples to be gross or anything like that, the age gap for me is a bit strange. I think the main factor for me is if they knew them when they were minors and they were adults, which is the case for both Heechul and GD.

I'm mainly side-eyeing GD & YGE. GD could have said no to having her play that part, could have found a different MV, soooo many things. You can tell in the behind for That XX that Jennie really looks up to GD as a senior and relishes his compliments as an artist. It just doesn't sit right with me, especially knowing the industry.
GD isn't really known for his morals so don't expect much from him lol

Yes, you are certainly right and I agree with you. I honestly feel like he groomed her in a way sort of considering she was very young back then, he knew she looked up to him, and the fact that younger teens especially young teen females are easily manipulated.
