That's been a while! I kind of forgot how AIIYL sounds like It's been a long time since I had last heard it, it's one of my least liked songs.

yeah I fell in love with bp the moment I heard Boombayah but it's went downhill from there :,))
I really like Whistle, have listened to PWF enough times to like it, and am ok with Stay but yeah,, super disappointed with the cb and have that way for most of their newer stuff tbh

With HYLT it seems people got pissed more for it being the same as the previous release

I dont care a lot about that aspect, as long as it's something catchy.

I mean, I dont hate HYLT with passion like some, cant say it's as good as their debut though

Some groups I consider keep improving in that issue, like it was with Exid for example or Apink. I can't see that happening with big 3 ggs.

Well it used to be a mixed bag for me upto a certain point after which I straight up stopped liking anything they put out.

2016: LOVED Whistle, hated Boombayah lol. It's grown on me now tho but still Whistle superior. Liked PWF a lot, although it's slightly fallen off now but still one of my faves by BP.

2017: Stay wasn't my cup of tea at all, but AIIYL rocked. Minus that Lisa rap, I thought we'd never get worse lyrics for a Lisa rap again. I was wrong.

2018: D4. Loved it. Even the B-side Forever Young. Still my fav BP era and their peak.

2019: KTL: here's where things start going downhill. I HATED KTL. BUT DKWTD kinda made up for it, it's one of my top 3 songs by BP.

2020: HYLT and Ice Cream both disappointing af for me.

So I guess since KTL I haven't been feeling anything BP has done. I still love Jennie and Rose and get hyped and have expectations when they are about to release something but end up disappointed everytime.

for me it was D4 followed by every title song they released after... idk man, i think the chorus of making lots of sounds and the repetitive formula is what keeps me away from BP

though, kick it is a bop, their b-sides are pretty good and make up for the crappy titles

The first song I legit disliked was AIIYL. I was full on board the BP hype train until that song came out, I was waiting for them to do something else, to evolve with their sound but it never happened...

HYLT was super disappointing to me, but then it grew on me. Ice Cream is way more disappointing than HYLT
