So I got another question. Who is your "national" comedian, actor etc? Like is there one person that's considered above every other in the field and is a legend?

Also, what was always bugging me was the whole Senate and House thing. Like what is what? What do you have to occupy to be a president etc
I'll try
Congress is split into two Chambers: House and Senate.
Every state elects two senators and their terms lasts six years. The head of the Senate is technically the Vice President but the Pro Tiempes (I know I'm butchering the spelling) is elected from the elected senators to run the Senate in his absence ie all the time. Whenever their is a tie in voting, the vice president comes to break it.

The house is a bit harder to explain. Based on population, every state is divided into a number of districts. A house rep is elected from every district in that state. So unlike the Senate that has a fixed number of senators, every state has a varying number of representatives. Highly populated states like New York and California have more reps than less populated states like Alaska. The Speaker of The House is elected to Lead/Represent the House.

Technically, you don't need to hold a previous office to be elected president. Donald Trump had no prior political experience. You just have to be a natural born citizen over the age of 35. Needless to say, we generally prefer Governors or Senators

But in terms of line of succession, say if something happens to the president
Vice President→ Speaker of the House→ Senate Pro Tiempes

Why would there be two cities with the same name within the same country.
Kansas City is on the border of Kansas and Missouri.
Technically two different cities

What I mean by president is that when Trump was elected I heard that Republicans had both the House and the Senate or something like that. What I'm curious of is does Trump control the Senate or something like that? Or is the election of the president completely irrelevant with who controls the Senate or the House?
A little bit of yes and no.
Because Trump is the highest representative of the Republican party, for the most part, they go along with what he says.
More than anything, Congress shows what we're probably going to elect. If we Have a Republican Congress, most likely, we go with a Republican president.

There are scenarios in which Congress can choose the president but those situations are so impossible nowadays it's kind of obsolete

Also how come you don't mind driving 30 minutes to get groceries.
that cant be the norm, even costco is like 15-20 min away and i pass multiple grocery stores.
I walk to my grocery store most of the time, or stop by one while going from place to place.
If you live out side of a city or town maybe.
One set of My grandparents lived outside a small town and even then driving in took about 15-20.

Does it bother you that you don't know how much your total bill will be before you reach the register?
I prefer it. I want to know how much more the bastiches are stealing from me.

for example i would love if gas listed the price and the tax separate. I t would make buying gas harder though because folks cannot do basic math.

How big is the difference between rural areas around New York and in the middle of USA? I've heard that it's like night and day the more you get in mid west etc
The North tends to be more modern, but it doesn't mean the South is full of cowboys. Actually, I don't think 1/16 of the Southern population is even a cowboy.

As for the middle, they're a combination. They're partially busy, and those areas tend to be more calm. I'm from the North, and haven't lived in the middle areas, but from people who have lived their, though the life style is different, the U.S is different just about everywhere.
