Ooh I actually have no idea. I think the only universally accepted person is BeyonceSo I got another question. Who is your "national" comedian, actor etc? Like is there one person that's considered above every other in the field and is a legend?
Really?/ I was actually expecting to hear someone older for the golden disco age XDOoh I actually have no idea. I think the only universally accepted person is Beyonce
I was going currentish lol. I don't know much about our pop cultureReally?/ I was actually expecting to hear someone older for the golden disco age XD
I'll tryAlso, what was always bugging me was the whole Senate and House thing. Like what is what? What do you have to occupy to be a president etc
Damn your system is confusing but I can at least say I get some of it XD I might as well get that USA subject we got on university. If I continue asking stuff in this thread I'll ace the exam XDI'll try
Congress is split into two Chambers: House and Senate.
Every state elects two senators and their terms lasts six years. The head of the Senate is technically the Vice President but the Pro Tiempes (I know I'm butchering the spelling) is elected from the elected senators to run the Senate in his absence ie all the time. Whenever their is a tie in voting, the vice president comes to break it.
The house is a bit harder to explain. Based on population, every state is divided into a number of districts. A house rep is elected from every district in that state. So unlike the Senate that has a fixed number of senators, every state has a varying number of representatives. Highly populated states like New York and California have more reps than less populated states like Alaska. The Speaker of The House is elected to Lead/Represent the House.
Technically, you don't need to hold a previous office to be elected president. Donald Trump had no prior political experience. You just have to be a natural born citizen over the age of 35. Needless to say, we generally prefer Governors or Senators
But in terms of line of succession, say if something happens to the president
Vice President→ Speaker of the House→ Senate Pro Tiempes
Kansas City, Missouri is decent. Kansas City, Kansas is garbageKansas City is decent and Johnson County is a good place to live but please, please don't visit here. There's nothing that's worth it lol

Why would there be two cities with the same name within the same country.Kansas City, Missouri is decent. Kansas City, Kansas is garbage
Kansas City is on the border of Kansas and Missouri. Why would there be two cities with the same name within the same country.
We do have a Washington state and our capital name is also WashingtonWhy would there be two cities with the same name within the same country.
A little bit of yes and no.What I mean by president is that when Trump was elected I heard that Republicans had both the House and the Senate or something like that. What I'm curious of is does Trump control the Senate or something like that? Or is the election of the president completely irrelevant with who controls the Senate or the House?
that cant be the norm, even costco is like 15-20 min away and i pass multiple grocery stores. Also how come you don't mind driving 30 minutes to get groceries.
I prefer it. I want to know how much more the bastiches are stealing from me.Does it bother you that you don't know how much your total bill will be before you reach the register?
It's a huge countryWhy would there be two cities with the same name within the same country.
Yes we actually dodo you really have paper bags? or is that just from series
Yeah, all the time. It's really nice actually. Is it true that people would randomly smile at you on the street?
The North tends to be more modern, but it doesn't mean the South is full of cowboys. Actually, I don't think 1/16 of the Southern population is even a cowboy. How big is the difference between rural areas around New York and in the middle of USA? I've heard that it's like night and day the more you get in mid west etc
