[Poll] Favorite Girl Group title in 2020 (Q1). (2 Viewers)

We're almost 1 quarter of the year in, and although this will be remembered mostly for the Covid-19 virus and all the quarantines/lockdowns across the globe, there have also been enough debuts and comebacks. It's been a weird year with groups having to perform at music shows with no fans, but in terms of quality, I think the output has been fairly solid so far, especially for girl groups.

You can vote for up to 3 choices. Lemme know what stood out to you the most.

Here's mine so far:

1. LOONA- So What.


Polarizing to a lot of people, but I loved it from the get go. And despite like 500 relistens, it's still just as good, if not better. The production and mixing here is absolutely incredible, the verses are a non stop adrenaline rush, and the bridge is one of the most epic in Kpop ever.

2. ITZY- Wannabe


Itzy delivered their best title till date imo with this track. It retains much of their signature style, but this time the inherent chaos in an Itzy track is held together by a very melodic chorus. And it flows together very seamlessly- the dance break is also one of the best. Itzy are probably the best performers going today.

3. Craxy- Aria


This will come as a surprise, even I didn't see this coming. The song is all over the place, the verses seem disjointed and the transitions are non-existent. But idk, something about this track- just the balls to debut with a song like this. The traditional music elements sprinkled in places get me everytime, the girls rap, sing and dance with relentless energy, and main vocal Swan's voice does things to my soul. I don't think many people will love it as much as I do lol.

B-side game really strong this year, arguably better than titles. Especially for GFriend and Elris Everglow's No Lie is also my favorite over Dun Dun so.

I think I like less than 10 ballads from all of Kpop ever. There's stuff like Oh My Girl's Secret Garden too but that isn't a pure ballad coz it actually picks up
I like some old TVXQ ballads, Sejeong's Flower Way, Ailee's Goblin OST and Lee Hi's Breathe. That's it I think
