I am no expert but according to my knowledge, it's good to distract yourself by looking around and naming a few things around you, maybe count each breath of yours, imagine a better happier place in your mind..... I never had much of a childhood, I don't even remember it.
All the friends I used to have in that time are gone and I have new friends now.
So it's just a past memory if nothing else.

And I gave up talking to my parents now. Both of them. I just can't be bothered anymore.
