I wonder why she got mad at the editor though? Because going on a 20 minute long rant seems excessive. Reminds me of the Lee Tae-im and Kim Yewon thing

Either way the time to handle that was then. Its not like she was some noob or a junior high school kid.
And i have tiny sympathy for "words like knives" .

I personally have handled many an irate customer going off on people. Its not hard find the problem solve it , point out that attacking the person is not the answer, and will not get me to solve the problem. Almost every single person apologized then and there.

Do these folks have no experience with conflict resolution?

I do find some of this unbelievable given that all the sm mangers want to work with RV when asked whom do you want to work with.
The mangers know all. If she really is psycho bitch then they would all know it, and it would be easy to say any other group like shinee ect.

That particular author has been called out numerous times for lying, to the extent Koreans tried to get him banned. Definitely not credible but the headline was eyebrow raising

My guess is she isn't a terrible person but her bad days are really bad days and a bit temperamental. There are noticable amount of people who have or still work with RV that liked and commented on the original post and on the other end, quite a few stylists trying to defend her. The editor themselves seemed like a fan

not in a customer service situation, as i understand it she is like a stylist. RV / SM are her customers. You solve those right then.

My thoughts:

This is a sad situation and I'm disappointed.

It is my belief that how you treat those in positions of status below you, like service workers and assistants, or other employees is indicative of your broader character.

Thus Irene is facing a reckoning of possible deficiencies in hers.

She needs to ensure she has properly addressed and apologized to the confirmed individual and any additional individuals she may have mistreated. And attempt to make amends if possible.

She needs to reflect on her actions and come to terms with her failures and work to correct them, however possible.

This shouldn't define her. As we are all more than our darkest moments.

It is my belief that all should be offered the possibility of redemption. A chance to correct their mistakes and redeem themselves, if possible.

Because the alternative is a world where no one is offered that chance.

My personal hope is that Irene sincerely reflects and properly attempts to make things right with any she may have wronged.

I hope she can earn her own redemption.

I'll be there to support her as her stan.
