Heeeey ok so this COMPLETELY skipped my mind but the concept of your suggested event is basically the same as KpopSource Music Awards (KSMA) which we have annually. The main difference is that it's not really a tournament but basically it's similar to a K-award show where a bunch of songs are nominated in different categories and users vote for their faves.

It's not a bad idea but like I said, it's just too similar to KSMA so we wouldn't actually be able to hold it as an official event. You can always make a tournament yourself in the tournament section in the forums though to find KS's fave song of the year :)

I'm going to call it "Luck O' the Generator" for now but the name idc about tbh

Basically for a 4 day span surrounding the holiday "St. Patrick's Day" which is centered around luck and fortune, there will be a new optional card event. The user can participate in this luck of the generator once over the span of 4 days since I think it's really involved for the Cards Team to actually do
Since the game is treated like a free card day, they are allowed to participate in the Golden Generator without any requirements.

In the Golden Generator, the card team will randomly draw 3 cards but the trick is that there is a higher percentage (15-20%) chance that they will draw a "joke" card as well. I am willing to participate in the making of these joke cards but basically instead of idols they will be the faces of comedians or someone like JYP Lee Sooman Yoo Jaesuk etc. If a user gets this card as one of their four cards, they may not choose any of the other cards to keep. If they do not receive a joke card in their stack of 4, they may pick any one of the cards to keep. These cards are untradeable or can only be traded once but can be thrown away. Reminder that this is in place of their daily quest card, so if the user does not wish to participate they can just go to the regular trade thread and ask for a card there.
How can the Golden Generator work so that it's easier? Well hopefully if you draw 3-4 cards from the generator, the card team can just roll a dice of 5 sides to represent a 20% chance. One of the sides can be marked joke card and all the others are just regular cards. If they roll the dice of joke card, they will randomly generate one of the 4 joke cards made and the player must only take the joke card.

It kind of reminds me of the Old Maid card game haha and yes it's complicated but I hope at least its ideas can inspire more ideaes ^^

I absolutely love the idea but we would need to get @Cards Team approval since this is something that will involve them mostly (as in giving cards out and even making the cards probably).

I like the idea a lot, I can ask the rest of the card team what they think too and if they agree we could make this a thing maybe if the events team agrees

We haven't made a final decision but it's likely that we'll be doing this for St.Patricks day. Not sure how we'd integrate you into the entire thing tho besides using the idea. Actually... we could just give you a special reward for essentially planning it all out if you're ok with that.

Members would be asked to choose an idol and roleplay him/her for a day/week?
They would be allowed to use gifs and the setting could have been agreed on?

How about a couples "Olympic" game? Only users with a kpopsource ship can participate (or not). You sign up with your ship/partner. You guys then will compete in a series of challenges, earning points based on how well they do. In the end, the top 3 couples with the most points win something incredible! Losers? Too bad!
