ex-ARMYs, do you miss stanning BTS? (1 Viewer)

I sometimes do. Especially when one of their old songs comes on in a playlist on spotify... Or when I see an old video I have seen and loved... Or when I see a picture of one of the boys where they look like they did years ago...

I Sometimes miss those times. I miss that feeling of love and seeing them interact. I miss that every now and again.

But they aren't the same as they used to be and they aren't what I used to love. Maybe one day I will fall in love with them all over again, but at the moment I will have to make do with memories.

It would be unfair to expect that and even though they aren't what I love now, they are still great.

I don't really. It's not just bts though, it's for every group I used to stan. I just don't really care for them anymore :/

tbh for me it was more the fandom + I unstanned a lot of groups at once expect EXO, as I said before I fallen out of touch with kpop and only listened to really popular songs ngl.

DNA hit me in the face with how much I do not like it, so yeah the music.

I stayed for a while afterwards though. I stuck with them, but then I started getting shit for preferring EXO over BTS and not being a real ARMY and well... Overtime I just started to pay them less and less attention! From checking their twitter every hour or so and talking with other ARMY often, I forgot to check their twitter for days and rarely talked with other ARMYs until one day I realized that I shouldn't really call myself an ARMY anymore!

I also had high hopes for Fake Love and when I didn't like that release either, I totally stopped following them.

Oh I mean get the fandom thing but honestly, I've met a lot of asshole armys but I've also met a lot of nice armys too. I don't know, I feel like it depends on who you associate with. Every fandom has those type of fans, imo.

A lot of BTS's title tracks are trash, imo with the exception of gems like Spring Day, Run, Save Me etc... But I feel like their musical prowess comes from their albums, more specifically, their b-sides. For example, although DNA was an absolute disaster, that album still brought songs like Pied Piper and Go Go. I don't know I use to just associate BTS with their title tracks so I thought they were overrated and just meh in general. However, they kept garnering this huge ass following so I decided to sit down and actually listen to their more recent albums and tbh I really enjoyed them :)

Honestly that kickstarted it, but I guess because I wasn’t interested in the music I became less interested in following their variety/sns. I wish them well obviously but I don’t go looking for news about them.

That's understandable. If you're not interested musically, everything else eventually falls apart as well.

Some people just have that charm on you!

I really like Suga's voice (Well I like most everything about him), I also love how when he is rapping he sometimes at the end of phrases raises his voice really high for like a split second.
