It's almost hard to believe that both Onew and Key are now in the military, and Minho's not far behind. I feel like I've been waiting for the days they would all enlist forever, and now that it's here it's...still not really believable.

But given everything us Shawols have gone through in the past few years, it also is almost comforting in a way. The boys can get away for a bit, have more personal reflection and comraderie building outside of their same faces day in and day out, participate in less entertainment industry focused relations and more "normal" relations and experiences, and grow in a healthier way in their diets, sleeping habits, and overal day to day schedules.

It's so nice seeing the smiles on their faces, I wish them all so well.

Oh goodness, I'd love to make one for Onew too, but to be honest I can only keep up with the two active artists (Taemin and ASTRO) and the memorial-type artist thread for Jonghyun that I'm working on slowly. I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with Onew, Key, and Minho too! (Especially Key, that boy is so active - I fully expect lots of updates and information from him even in the military, especially given the section of it he's joining)

I would love to see them have their own pages, and I trust you'll do an amazing job just like you have with this one!

Tbh I'm definitely on the newer side of the fandom and its a little difficult to think that their military service is going to last almost long as I've been stanning them. Shinee is definitely a group that has caused both extreme happiness and extreme heartbreak just in the short time I've been a fan, I cant imagine having stanned them for so long and seeing them go.

But I hope the best for them in the military, hopefully it passes well and the different experience will refresh them if possible so that they come back stronger than ever. Onew is already doing well and achieving a lot, so I have hopes that it will go well for the other two, and eventually Taemin when its his turn.

Yeah I've been with them since debut and it's...honestly quite an interesting feeling to see them go away for a few years, to say the least (but quite honestly we have been getting more updates on Onew in the past few months than we got for a while during breaks he took aside from SHINee activities haha). It's been nice to see him grow, even in the military, and his happy face as he gets to experience new and different things (but now still gets to sing and perform in the musical like he enjoys, too).

It will be especially emotional for myself to watch Taemin go to military. I've basically seen him grow up since they all debuted, and that will be like...the final step fully into adult hood and becoming a whole grown man (even though clearly he's already a grown man - you know what I mean). I just hope that he as well as the others have a great experience while in the military and EAT LOTS OF FOODS!
