I'm mainly side-eyeing GD & YGE. GD could have said no to having her play that part, could have found a different MV, soooo many things. You can tell in the behind for That XX that Jennie really looks up to GD as a senior and relishes his compliments as an artist. It just doesn't sit right with me, especially knowing the industry.

Expecting better from YGE(who scuppered the gg his current wife was in then so as to romance her n marry her) or GD is kinda believing in fairy tales tho.

Regardless I hope this is just a case of them growing closer as adults versus you know, the other thing. Assuming it’s the first, their age gap to me isn’t that bad compared to a few others, so I hope both are happy even tho I don’t see it lasting that long.

Also im a samchon so its just my opinion, but in my other fandom(s), i believe the victim so im not commenting further without any more info.

Here there's no sign of any coercion, or wrongdoing-its like observers are damed if they keep quiet now(n sth crops up l8r), n damned if they spk out now trying to protect the young ingenue.

My first thot it dint even cross my mind abt the power dynamics/yge/cp soyul/hcmm, so im kinda chained to my initial post-as i believe jennie is a strong, independent grown ass woman who can make her own decisions on her own love life.

Notwithstanding unless if credible mistreatment issues crop up as i mentioned earlier; i hope im consistent in my posts throughout here n earlier everywhere.

In Asia the age gap, or power dynamics mostly isnt seen as an issue unless its thru the lens of experience beforehand or foreknowledge thru (as here) discussion n learning thru reading abt it. (I learned abt age/power dynamics in romantic relationships only by reading abt it in my other fandoms{usually in broken relationships tho} so it doesnt immediately come to mind myself, unless its too obvious as in yge/cpsymhj)
