What is the main concept of your bias group? (1 Viewer)

I don't mean the cute/sexy/badass divide, but something more specific.
Are there themes and motifs that keep reappearing from comeback to comeback?

While rewatching Seventeen's MVs, I realized how much they reference the process of audio and video production:
from writing, recording, training, performing, to hardware and software references.

Here are some examples of this:
- whole Thanks MV (mostly focused on performance practices, writing and recording as a team; album name: Director's Cut)
- whole Clap MV (mostly focused on directing, editing and special effects; SVT here means: Specialized Videotape Technology)
- whole Happy Ending MV (similar to Clap: directing, filming, editing but with less quirky special effects references)
- some parts of Adore U MV have the green-screen/transparent bg software reference (as in Clap, but less 'glitchy')
- Pretty U MV is about guerrilla-style promotion and having fun while pasting SVT logos and posters through the city
- there's more random moments through sub-unit MVs, like Woozi in Change Up MV drowning in compositions he wrote

Other than this main theme, I noticed boxing happened in three of their MVs now:
- the Mingyu vs Wonwoo ring scene in Adore U MV
- S.Coups vs Wonwoo in Aju Nice MV
- Jun & Dokyeom in ring in Happy Ending MV

And some other motifs that appear quite often: rotary telephones, VHS cassettes, vintage vehicles etc...

Hmm... I think a lot of CLC’s songs kinda have that “girl power/self love” theme. Like, not all of them, obviously, but No Oh Oh is about saying no to sex, No is about loving yourself and acting however you want, and I think that Me will definitely have similar themes about beauty and loving yourself.

It has been said multiple times and it has even been said that it is the reason they are so rarely on variety shows! Baekhyun apparently even holds back on them, because they are supposed to be mysterious!

Most of their songs have the self acceptance and female empowerment concept too such as butterfly, new and egoist.
Also kiss later is about respecting certain boundaries and a young girl who wants to take it slow in a relationship.

I'm not exactly sure in terms of mv's, but:

2NE1:
- Most of their lyrics are about break-ups, leaving bad and toxic relationships, being the one left behind, missing the one you used to be together with and yearning after them and what u had with them. -> mv's often follow lyrics either telling story or just having the mood of the lyrics.
- Style: harder and more outstanding style- hip hop clothing, leather and rock style, bright colors, studs.
- Quite rarely your regular kpop dance breaks in mv's.
- In many mv's

Big Bang:
- Mv's tend to have lot of variety, but usually lot of scenes with just one member in the mv- everyone has their own separate parts and then they are together at the end of the mv.
- Very rarely have dance breaks in the mv's.
