So the Venus is the symbol of idealized beauty. They (CLC) see themselves walking by the painting multiple times and looking up at, sort of as an example of what they should look like, and this sets social conforms on them. They feel restricted by this idealized beauty, and in the end, they destroy it and break free, creating their own image of what beauty is: the beautiful "ME."
