Ikr, I like this generation too obviously, but the sound of the 2nd generation groups was so unique and I love it

So sad, i missed the best gen, sure music evolves and changes over time, due influence from west ( which i really dont like and pointed out many times ) , politics, social changes and views, doesnt mean its better or worse, but something always kinda vanishes.. the sound from 2nd gen is so superb imho, shame

I mostly hate songs that sound too Western too, with a few exceptions lol. That's why most beat drop choruses never end up in my favorite list. Even Everglow's Adios, which I liked, was kinda underwhelming to me after Bon Bon Chocolat
Some of the stuff from early 2nd gen wasn't that good however, they tended to use a lot of autotune, but for the most part, songs relied on a catchy hook and melody that gave them great relistening value, which is why I'll forever defend it as the superior gen

early tvxq, BEG and more were hood tho. it really depends on what you choose to listen to. crazy autotune is more of a middle- end of second gen

It depends, like I love some TVXQ songs but that collab with Boa was
Also for BEG like I love Abracadabra despite the autotune, but stuff like Tilt my head goes too far

However, Supa Luv is a bop despite all that I'll agree

That's fine, Love Options is the better song, though they're both by Brave Sound

And yass that's the recognition Love Options deserved lol, the lyrics are so funny too. If it was by a bigger group, it would have blown up so much 3 of the Bestie members were in EXID original lineup btw before leaving to form a new group.

T-ara has so many bops too lol. My favs are Roly Poly, Number Nine, Sugar Free, Sexy Love and Day by Day. Day by Day is literally a 15 min movie set in dystopian sci-fi world lol. Watch it if you're up for it.
