Card Roulette

Welcome to the roulette! This post will give you an overview of the current roulette system and rules. Firstly, each roulette has 2 days, Day 1 and Day 2. Day 1 starts when a member of the cards team announces that the roulette is open and is the day for entering cards. Day 2 is the day when you receive your new cards. These days will be covered in detail below.

Day 1:
Every other Saturday (in KST) a cards team member posts the opening of that weeks roulette and tags cards team and users. If on that day 0 KST has passed and there is no post, you may tag cards team to remind them, and cards team will respond by either opening it or explain why there hasn't been a post. After the opening off the roulette, you may enter 5 cards and request 1 Card of Choice. If you have finished a batch it would be preferable if you list the batches you have done with your post.

Entries:
You may enter up to 5 cards in one roulette. Any card other than the anniversary card may be entered and each card counts as one entry regardless of the type of card (ie. entering a rare doesn't give you 2 card of choice entries/won't give you a higher chance of getting a rare). You may not trade or reroll any entered card. One of each card is allowed at most, so if another user enters a card you wanted to first, you will need to pick a new card.

Card of Choice:
You may pick one Korean common as a card of choice. Exceptions, such as in limited roulettes, will have the Card of Choice rules clearly stated during the opening post for that roulette. On day 2, 3 cards of choice will be picked at random and randomly be assigned between the participants.

Pending Trades:
If you have a trade pending for a card you have not received yet, please let us know and link the thread with the trade agreement as well as the post for the trade in the request a card trade thread. This will make things much easier for us.

Day 2:
On day 2, all the entered cards will be removed if they haven't been already. As stated before, the card of choice winners will be generated and handed their cards. The rest of the cards will be pulled from specific batches, which will be generated based on the odds below. They will be handed out to users, and after everyone has gotten their cards the list of who got what will be posted in the roulette thread.

This new system, which is now technically a bi-weekly re-roll, should allow participants to continue requesting dailies and trading (not the cards they entered) without the potential mistake of messing up the results like it has done in the previous system. This system is easier to adapt and easier to hand out cards in general. Also, it removes the hours of prep work for Cards Team which the old system required, and continued to grow with each new release.

Rule 2: Don’t insult other users if they get a card you wanted
Rule 3: Don’t bash the card you end up getting
Rule 4: Don’t bash this Event. If you have suggestions and critique post it in the Card Suggestion Thread

Event Rules

Rule 10: Cards will be drawn the Second Day of the Roulette.
Rule 11: Please inform us which batch/es you've completed when entering into the Roulette.

How can you request your new won cards?
You don’t, we do it for you!
We will hand them out as you receive them and post the results in the roulette thread.

My reasoning when finishing this up was to not have a bunch of people throw out a card and cause the card to be much harder to obtain for those who might want them, but it is true that they could just reroll the card in a non roulette reroll. I can talk to the card team about it, we'll keep it for this time but if we change it for future roulettes we'll let everyone know.
